- 30-45 mins session with your ASSIGNED ADVISOR
- Visit Advising Services to learn how to schedule appointments
- Get assistance with DISMISSAL petitons, FINANCIAL AID appeals, and GRADUATION applications
- Learn how to submit requests for Change of Major, Change of Primary Institution, and Course Overloads

Certified Advisors provide a variety of advising services:
- At key points in a student's academic journey
- Via e-mail, telephone, and virtual sessions during the COVID-19 pandemic
- During available extended and weekend hours
- Such as comprehensive academic and career advising, CPOS verifications, and coaching for academic recovery concerns such as probation and dismissal
- That support the MISSION of the College by facilitating optimal learning and successful attainment of student educational goals

CONTINUING STUDENTS, please refer to your Alamo GPS, found in ACES, to review your degree tracking tools:
- SAC DEGREE PLANS allow you to view the courses you need to advance in your selected SAC program of study
- TRANSFER ADVISING GUIDES (TAG) identify courses that apply to your SAC program and the University major at your identified transfer school

Students are seen by Certified Advisors on an open-advising and/ or appointment basis. You are encouraged to plan ahead for your advising session to avoid an extended wait time.
