Magic Closet is now operating as Armadillo Boutique.
The boutique, run by the Student Advocacy Center, provides both professional and casual clothing to SAC students in need. Dressing rooms are available.
Students can visit the clothing closet twice a month for casual wear, business wear, uniforms for their degree, and children's clothing, depending on availability. You must make an appointment in advance. To schedule these please contact the Advocacy Center helpline at (210) 486-1111.
Three spaces are available within the Student Advocacy Center to meet the personal needs of students, faculty, and staff.
Meditation Room
A dedicated meditation room features two individual pods, each containing cozy furnishings and bean bag chairs and separated by a divide and can be used by anyone looking for a private space to meditate, pray, or focus on spiritual needs.
Dressing Rooms
Four multi-purpose dressing rooms are available, each with doors and locks. Like department store dressing rooms, the units include a mirror and comfortable seating, but also offer outlets for hair dryers and styling tools. Lockers are available to store items for the day.
Students who are picking out clothes at the SAC clothes closet can use the dressing rooms to try items on. Some students are housing insecure and don’t have a place off-campus where they can get ready for class.
Breastfeeding Rooms
A room for nursing mothers, with four private units, doors with locks, comfortable seating, lockers and a refrigerator to store supplies is available to those who need it.
