About me:
Mary Ramsey serves as the Academic Program Specialist for the STEM center at San Antonio College. Previously she worked as an adjunct professor teaching biology, zoology, and math. She obtained her Master's degree in zoology from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Her focus was on conservation education in urban areas. Mary is currently a doctoral student at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her research interest is student support to increase retention and diversity of STEM undergraduate students. Mary is an advisor to the Society of Women Engineers section at SAC. She is also a Certified Career Services Provider.
Mary is a military spouse, dog-mom, step-mom to 5, and mother to a 3-year-old girl.
