Latinos in Scientists & Engineering (MAES)
The San Antonio College MAES student chapter is an affiliate student chapter of the national professional organization, Latinos in Science and Engineering. It provides a forum for the exchange of information to students interested in engineering/science to include scholarships, internships, educational programs, conferences, student support services, and employment opportunities. Society of Women Engineers (SWE)
This group is open to all students. It is an affiliated group of the Society of Women Engineers. The Society of Women Engineers, founded in 1950, is a not-for-profit educational and service organization. SWE is the driving force that establishes engineering as highly desirable career aspirations for women. SWE empowers women to succeed and advance in those aspirations and be recognized for their life-changing contributions and achievements as engineers and leaders.
