Campus Police

Police protection is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The primary objective of the patrol officer is to provide a safe environment for employees, students, and the community. The department is responsible for:

  • Emergency services
  • Criminal investigations
  • Traffic enforcement/investigations
  • Providing escorts
  • Crime prevention
  • Responding to call(s) for service
  • Non-emergency request (s)
  • Parking management
  • Lost and Found
  • Compliance with the Campus Security Act of 1990

The Department of Public Safety (DPS) office keeps a “Lost and  Found” for the campus. If you’ve lost something, contact the DPS office at 210-486-5607. Unclaimed items are disposed of at the end of each semester. Found items should be turned in to the police as soon as possible.
