Construction Management

Construction managers work in all phases of the construction business, e.g., public and private owners, small multi-family projects, industrial projects, and rural highways to major interstates. Graduates of this program can go into estimating, field engineering, project scheduling, and other management levels - general or specialty contractors in the fields of mechanical, plumbing, and electrical.

Cloud Computing equips students the knowledge and hands-on skills to design, manage and secure zero trust networks with cloud deployment. This program places emphasis on routing, switching, firewalls, and server virtualization in physical and cloud environments.

What is Cyber Defense?

NLC's Cyber Defense program equips students with industry-relevant Cyber Security Training in Cisco, Windows, and Linux inside of a dedicated network environment. Our teaching methodology balances traditional classroom education with hands-on projects where students use "real world" tools to solve "real world" Cyber Security challenges.

Database Administration, A.A.S.

The Associate of Applied Science in Database Administration educates students to analyze, develop and implement databases, provide data assurances and perform database tests. This program pairs hands-on training with technical skill sets, which includes assessing the needs of the user, troubleshooting problems and configuring server platforms.

An innovative program that will immerse students in the explosive growth industry of social media and digital marketing. The only one of its kind in the area. Students will build an understanding of marketing in a digital environment, exploring the unique requirements for communicating messages to consumers via social media and other online branding platforms. Pre-Nursing

Biology: Pre-Nursing supports the mission of the college in meeting the educational goals of students who are enrolled in college parallel, pre-professional, or technical/allied health programs. The Pre-Nursing course of study is cognizant of the needs of transfer students.  Students can start at NLC and transfer to another institution to fulfill nursing requirements or complete their associate of science degree at NLC.

Texas A&M-Chevron Engineering Academy at Alamo Colleges District - Northeast Lakeview College

Get a head start on your Texas A&M engineering degree by applying for the Texas A&M-Chevron Engineering Academy at the Alamo Colleges District – Northeast Lakeview College.

Offered in partnership with Texas A&M University's College of Engineering, this unique program offers students an opportunity to pursue an engineering degree while co-enrolled at Texas A&M and the Alamo Colleges District. Students are able to save money during their first two years – where they will take engineering courses taught by Texas A&M faculty at Northeast Lakeview College before transitioning to the Texas A&M campus in College Station.
