Northwest Vista College is committed to ensuring all students have the ability to continue their education by eliminating different obstacles that might prevent them from earning their degree. The NVC Advantage Program is a strategic initiative designed to empower students with a personalized “student success team” as they prepare to enroll for the next semester while fulfilling a Commitment to Complete. For first time in college students, these resources act as a support system to provide a strong foundation for success in college.

     

Attend NVC and get Wildcat Wows!

Students who enroll through our NVC Advantage program get the benefit of the following resources:

  • Assigned Certified Enrollment Coach to assist in the admissions process

  • Assigned Certified Advisor to support degree completion

  • A dedicated Certified Career Navigator by career path

  • $200 supplemental grant for books and instructional materials

  • Free laptop loaner program*

  • Access to free additional resources including clothes closet, personal counseling, and food pantry

*Criteria for laptop loan program: must select NVC as home school, be currently enrolled with a minimum of 6 hours or part-time, and have no holds.
