Community Health Workers provide services to increase wellness and improve access to health services through outreach activities to target populations. The program will train you to develop positive relationships with individuals who need assistance and support in developing healthy behaviors, utilizing health resources, and gaining educational support to prevent or alleviate the effects of chronic disease. Hospitals, churches, clinics, insurance companies, and nonprofit organizations all need the services of community healthcare workers. Emphasis is on health education, health promotion, and community outreach. Coursework in this program is intended to develop and enhance the skills of community health advisors, social and human service assistants, and other people interested in working in the field of social work, community health, and advocacy. |

About our notary public program!When you decide to become a Texas Notary Public, it is important to obtain the most accurate information regarding Texas notary law. Learn the history of the Notary Public, the Notary’s role and status as a Public Officer. Learn about the primary duties and fundamentals of performing a Notarial act and the ethical conduct and professional responsibility required of a Notary. The class covers the qualifications for becoming a Texas notary, the importance of recordkeeping, authorized duties, prohibited acts, and penalties, as well as best practices regarding notarial procedures. Interested in pursuing a challenging and rewarding career in real estate?Start your training to become a Real Estate Sales Agent! A sales agent is a person who is licensed by the Texas Real Estate Commission (TREC) to act as an agent on behalf of a real estate broker and their clients. This program provides the 180 classroom hours of qualifying education required before you can apply to become a Sales Agent with TREC. Upon successful completion of the program, you will file an application with TREC*, submit your course completion documents, get your fingerprints taken and pass your background check. A license will not be issued if the background check has not been passed. |
