College Budget Office

Mission:  

To promote fiscal responsibility by providing technical assistance and analysis in planning, administering, and monitoring the budget, thereby assisting the college in its mission of teaching and service and achieving student success.  

Purpose:  

The College Budget Office fulfills its mission by performing the following:

Budget Development  

Develop annual operating budget and monitor budget compliance throughout the year.  

Budget Assistance  

Assist Budget Managers and support staff with budget questions/problems/training, including budget status in Banner.

Reporting  

Prepare standardized and ad hoc reports that provide decision-makers with up-to-date information. 

Position Control  

Analyze issues related to position control and process necessary documentation to ensure employee records in Human Resources are accurate.

Alamo Talent Job Postings  

Verify job postings for accuracy and proper approval.

Banner/Systems Access  

Obtain system access for approved employees by using Banner Titan and contacting the necessary SAC and District departments.
